The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has suffered from decades of clashes between military groups, leading to the displacement of more than 6 million people. Violence has escalated to great extents recently, to the point of bombings that have forced entire communities to flee. This 1/1 jacket was made in solidarity with children, women, and families who are facing crisis and are in need for humanitarian aid. All profits made from this jacket will be donated to the Save The Children foundation who are working directly within the Democratic Republic of Congo to make sure families who have been uprooted from their homes and deprived of basic needs are receiving the aid they need. The jacket has a loose, boxy fit with a wide, kimono-style sleeves. The body of the jacket is upcycled from a 100% polyester tapestry blanket. The sleeves were upcycled from a vintage blanket made of 100% cotton.

Care Instructions:
